Our Behavioral Health Services

Adolescent and Adult Services

Mental Health services are offered and customized for every client throughout their life cycle. Some providers can assist with areas of anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and substance use, while others can focus on individual, family, and marriage counseling. Our counselors also provide telehealth services to be able to meet your best needs and provide you services from your own home without needing to enter the office.

Child and Family Services

At HealthFirst, we recognize that every child and family has unique experiences, strengths, and needs. Children may respond to stress, change, loss, or difficult experiences in different ways, and sometimes they need extra support to feel safe, understood, and connected.

Our compassionate counselors work alongside children, caregivers, and families to build on strengths, develop healthy coping skills, understand and express emotions, and navigate challenging experiences. We provide individualized support for children and families as they adjust to changes such as transitions in family relationships, new family settings, school changes, or other experiences that may affect a child’s sense of safety and well-being.

We understand the importance of meeting children where they are. Our counselors are closely connected with schools throughout our communities and can provide services within the school setting when appropriate, helping make care more accessible and comfortable for children and families.

At HealthFirst, our goal is to create a supportive, welcoming environment where children and families feel heard, respected, and empowered as they move toward healing and well-being.

Marriage and Family Services

Our Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist can assist couples and families who are having difficulties in communication, perspective-taking, understanding one another, and creating and maintaining positive and caring dynamics within the partnership or family system. The approach is non-judgmental and helps guide each family member or partner to dig deeper into their own personal truths with the understanding that each person has their own truth and understanding of the current situation. Our therapist can then guide individuals to better communicate that in an effective manner and facilitate a conversation to increase understanding. Co-parents can be taught to develop skills to assist them in working together to raise their children while emotionally supporting them.
