COVID-19 INFORMATION FOR PATIENTS
To ensure that both patients and staff are best protected, HealthFirst still requires face masks to be worn in our practices at all times. We are encouraging everyone to do their part in preventing the spread of COVID-19.
- Wash your hands for 20 seconds with soap and warm water
- If handwashing is not available, use hand sanitizer and rub hands briskly until dry
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
Stay home if you have a fever (99.6 +) or a cough
- Wear a facemask whenever in indoor public areas or stores, and in crowded outdoor areas
HOW DOES COVID-19 TESTING AT HEALTHFIRST WORK?
COVID-19 Testing will be performed by appointment only.
If you wish to be tested for COVID-19, you can call our Laconia office at 603-366-1070 or the Franklin office at 603-934-1464 to schedule a testing time. Our nursing team will assist you in understanding the next steps in your care, along with instructions about what to do when you arrive for testing.
WILL INSURANCE COVER THE COST OF MY TEST?
Please bring your insurance card to your appointment. If you do not have insurance or have a health insurance plan that does not cover the cost of testing, testing is still available to you.
Most insurance companies will cover the cost of COVID-19 testing when symptoms are present. We recommend you reach out to your insurance provider to confirm coverage prior to testing. We will submit claims to your insurance company; however, we cannot guarantee coverage or payment.
