Celebrating Our Patients, Staff and Community During National Health Center Week

HealthFirst Family Care Center joined health centers across the country in celebrating National Health Center Week, August 2–8, recognizing the patients, staff, partners, and communities that make the work of community health centers possible.

Throughout the week, HealthFirst hosted activities at our Franklin and Laconia locations designed to celebrate our patients and employees while connecting community members with healthcare information, resources, and local organizations.

Our Population Focus activities brought community partners directly to HealthFirst, giving patients and visitors opportunities to learn about health insurance resources, chronic condition management, community services, nutrition, and other supports available throughout the region.

We were also grateful to partner with local farms and organizations to provide fresh produce and other resources to our patients, helping reinforce something we see every day: good health extends far beyond the walls of an exam room.

Of course, National Health Center Week would not be complete without celebrating the people who make HealthFirst run. Our Employee Appreciation celebration gave us an opportunity to recognize the dedication of our staff, including a cookout served up by members of our leadership team.

National Health Center Week may last only seven days, but its message reflects the work happening at HealthFirst throughout the year — bringing healthcare, resources, people, and community together to help our patients live healthier lives.

Thank you to our patients, employees, community partners, and supporters for being part of HealthFirst.
