Sara Morin is a graduate of Simmons University of Boston. She comes to us with 10 years of medical experience and 7 years of nursing experience, with a special interest in oncology. She maintains her acute care advanced life support licensure as well as Oncology Nursing Society certification.
Sara began her medical career as a phlebotomist in the ER at Lawrence General Hospital in Massachusetts and then transferred to Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH and continued phlebotomy as an inpatient technician. As a scholarship recipient of Elliot Hospital she continued furthering her education as a nurse to receive her Bachelors of Nursing from Rivier University.
Sara’s nursing career started in acute care as an oncology nurse on an inpatient unit at Concord Hospital where she took on the role of charge nurse. She then transferred to an ICU-step down unit focusing on respiratory and cardiac care in the role of charge nurse as well. While studying to become a Nurse Practitioner, Sara continued to work as a visiting nurse gaining experience in hospice care and long-term care for the Sisters of Holy Cross Health Center.
Sara enjoys dance teaching in her spare time and spending her time with her family. She is currently providing care as a Family Nurse Practitioner for HealthFirst Family Care Center in Franklin, NH where she continues to expand and develop to the full scope as a Nurse Practitioner.
