Michelle, a New Hampshire native and lakes region enthusiast, completed her Nurse Practitioner Program at Rivier University in 2019. She completed several clinical rotations at both the Franklin and Laconia HEALTHFIRST locations and accepted a position in the Laconia office upon graduation. Her background is in cardiology working as a nurse in cardiac surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital caring for pediatric through adult populations in the post-op inpatient setting.
Michelle works as an adjunct professor at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy teaching in both the simulation lab and as a nursing clinical instructor at Concord Hospital. She has worked on many quality improvement initiatives including organ transplant care redesign at MGH and creating educational programs for the adolescent population in New Hampshire. Her interest is in working with patients to set attainable goals and arming patients with the education needed for disease management and health maintenance and promotion.
